Our European Supply Chain Team in Gersthofen is looking for a Supply Chain Officer (m/f/d) with focus on energy (electricity and gas) sourcing projects.

What your job includes

  • Management of tenders and bid solicitations, analysis of offers according to market as well as benchmark and conclusion of framework agreements in the energy sector
  • Driving centralization of purchasing activities for commodities as well as explore and use sourcing synergies within OSI Europe
  • Creation, automation and management of purchasing/market statistics, as well as continuous market observation and optimization of purchasing activities
  • Development of process improvements in service quality, cost optimization for energy
  • Preparation of presentations, market reports and forecasts
  • lndependent management and coordination of projects

What we expect from you

  • Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness or related fields or comparable education
  • Sound work experience in procurement within the energy sector 
  • Common understanding for energy and financial markets and trends as well as how to guarantee for the company the best options
  • Affinity for IT tools and good user skills in MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Very good comand of the German and English language
