Our factory in Beuningen is looking for a Shift Manager.

About the Role

As a Shift Manager, you are the key figure in our production department during your shift. You coordinate and lead the production process, ensure that the planned production is achieved, and continuously monitor quality, safety, and hygiene. You analyze results, identify areas for improvement, and initiate optimizations to ensure efficient and safe production. Additionally, you directly manage the team and motivate employees to achieve production and quality objectives together.

What will you do?

  • Organizing production: You create a schedule for personnel and resources, allocate responsibilities, and start production. You monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Analyzing and evaluating: Based on data and results, you identify deviations and take action in collaboration with other departments.
  • Optimizing: You propose improvements, take measures to work more efficiently, and provide advice in case of emergencies.
  • Ensuring quality and safety: You implement new procedures, ensure compliance with occupational health, HACCP, and company standards, and involve the appropriate department in case of quality issues.
  • Leadership: You instruct, coach, and motivate employees, oversee the onboarding of new staff, and ensure optimal collaboration within the team.

What We Ask

  • You possess strong leadership qualities and know how to motivate and manage teams.
  • You communicate clearly and can effectively instruct and coach employees.
  • You are analytical, decisive, and solution-oriented, even under pressure.
  • You think in terms of opportunities and take the initiative to improve processes.
  • MBO-4 level of work and thinking (preferably technical); HBO is a plus.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role within a production environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and other quality and safety standards.
  • Good command of the English language; Dutch is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift system.
  • Possession of a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
