Our plant OSI Food Solutions Poland sp.z o. o. in Ostróda is looking for a Production Manager (f/m).

  • Managing the production area and ensuring the achievement of operational, quality and cost objectives.
  • Planning, organizing and supervising the work of the production team.
  • Supervision over the timely implementation of the production plan, while ensuring the highest quality, in accordance with customer requirements and optimization of resource consumption.
  • Organizing, optimizing and continuously improving production processes in order to increase efficiency and reduce costs.\
  • Monitoring and analysis of production indicators (KPIs), identifying deviations and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Developing competencies, supporting and motivating subordinate employees, and building a culture of commitment and responsibility.
  • Implementation and development of Lean Manufacturing tools and coordination of investment activities and improvement projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards and working with support departments to achieve business goals.
  • Cooperation with other departments of the company to ensure timely and compliant execution of orders and cooperation with companies and external institutions.
  • Taking corrective and preventive actions (including documentation) resulting from improvements in the production process, results of controls, audits, etc.
  • Cooperation with other companies of the company outside Poland on projects/tests.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a position related to production management, preferred in the food industry.
  • Very good knowledge of English, allowing for free business communication.
  • Knowledge of the SAP system will be an advantage.
  • Highly developed managerial competencies in the field of team management, motivating employees and enforcing the achievement of goals.
  • Experience in optimizing production processes and implementing Lean Manufacturing tools and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, GHP, HACCP, IFS, FSSC22000).
  • Knowledge of modern production management systems and the ability to work with KPIs and production data analysis.
  • The ability to make decisions, solve problems effectively and act under time pressure.
  • High organizational skills, ability to plan work and set priorities.
  • Openness to change, development of the organization and implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
  • Independence, responsibility and a proactive approach to the tasks performed.
  • Commitment to work and conscientiousness.
  • Punctuality, accuracy, responsibility.
  • High level of communication at different levels in the structure.

  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.

  • Category B driving license and availability

What we expect from you
