Our plant Henri van de Bilt in Beuningen is looking for a Maintenance Technician (m/f/x).

The position

Are you a technical professional with a passion for the food industry? In this multifaceted role, you contribute directly to the continuity, reliability, and safety of our production processes. You perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on our modern production lines and play a key role in minimizing downtime and safeguarding product quality.
 
Your responsibilities:
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance plan to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Corrective Maintenance & Documentation: Identify, analyse, and resolve technical faults during the production process. Accurately record faults and maintenance tasks in the maintenance system to support continuous improvement.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Provide feedback after maintenance and contribute to optimizing maintenance concepts. Propose technical improvements, always prioritizing safety and food safety.
  • Support & Collaboration: Guide and support operators and production staff, sharing your technical expertise to strengthen overall team performance.
  • Adjustments & Modifications: Carry out electrical and mechanical adjustments to enhance machine performance and reliability.

Your profile

  • Education: MBO-level diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: Demonstrable hands-on experience in a technical work environment.
  • Personality: Proactive, flexible, and a strong team player with a results-driven mindset.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: You think in solutions and can translate challenges into effective and creative approaches.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and proficiency in Dutch and/or English.
  • Availability: Willing to work in a 2-shift system.
  • Work Permit: You hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.

What we offer you

  • Salary: A competitive monthly salary between €3,650 and €4,000 op basis van 36 uur, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Shift Allowance: A 14% allowance for working in a 2-shift schedule.
  • Contract: A fixed-term contract with the intention of offering a permanent position.
  • Leave & Holidays: 24 vacation days, plus additional days based on age, and 9 compensatory days (ADV).
  • Holiday Allowance: An annual allowance of 8%.
  • Year-End Bonus: A year-end bonus of 3.25%.
  • Pension Scheme: Attractive VLEP pension plan with a total contribution of 26% (19.74% employer / 6.26% employee) and an accrual rate of 1.73%.
