What your job includes
- You are responsible for guaranteeing production safety, the proper functioning of the machines and equipment in the factory, and continuously improving the technical facilities in terms of functionality, safety and costs.
- Safety of the production line, reliability of the machines and materials
- Develop concepts and implementation measures for the continuous improvement of machines and technical equipment based on weak point analyzes and within the set budget in coordination with plant management and production management
- Responsibility for and coordination of the proper execution of maintenance activities, including administration and assurance of all obligations under existing service and maintenance contracts
- Managing and developing a team of electricians and mechanics
- Budgeting for maintenance work and monitoring compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, environmental and other applicable regulations and guidelines
- Responsibility for the implementation of sufficient and correct documentation of all mechanical and technical equipment
What we expect from you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Sound experience in an equivalent position within a production environment, preferably within the food industry and shift work
- Strong motivation and teamwork skills
- Experience with ERP systems
- Good command of the German and English language in word and writing
