Key Account Manager South Europe

Our Sales Team is searching a Key Account Manager for South Europe.


You will be part of our entity OSI entity in Toledo and work home-office based.

What your job includes

  • Development and growth of the sales strategy in a fast-moving growth transformation in the Retail Channel – specifically large Retail Chains (Full Service, Discount, Online) across South Europe in OSI’s leading product categories including Poultry, Bacon & Beef with a (fresh) convenience/ snacking focus.  
  • Execution of the sales strategy in the Foodservice Channel by managing and acquiring key accounts, further development of sustainable customer relationships and generation of sales across South Europe for above mentioned product categories.
  • Strengthening and further development of the OSI brand and its products as well as identification and acquisition of new business areas for the company in the food service sector - wholesale as well as food service chains.
  • Strengthening the network to our production plants through regular visits and building close relationships with contacts at our production sites. In Spain it is Toledo.
  • Main contact for key account customers in Europe and further development of international business relationships and common growth targets
  • Develop and implement strategic and annual sales plans to execute our global / European sales strategies
  • Define sales metrics and track them successfully

What we expect from you

  • Completed business or technical studies or a comparable qualification as well as relevant professional experience in sales and distribution
  • Extensive experience in supporting major international customers in the food sector with complex organizations as well as good knowledge of the retail industry
  • High customer orientation combined with conceptual and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills at all levels and excellent negotiation skills
  • Experienced handling of MS Office as well as ERP and CRM systems
  • Very good written and spoken Spanish and English skills, French is a plus
  • You consider business trips within Europe as enriching
