-Manage the company’s accounting and financial reporting systems.
-Coordinate monthly closings and submit financial statements and reports.
-Align Hungarian statutory requirements with international (foreign) directives.
-Support European standardisation, harmonisation, and process improvement initiatives.
-Oversee preparation of annual financial statements and P&L; provide analyses for accompanying reports.
-Fulfil budgeting, tax return, declaration, and payment obligations on time.
-Supervise liquidity management (e.g. cash flow, cash pool monitoring).
-Perform and oversee inventory valuation; ensure accurate stock data in financial reporting.
-Monitor cost allocation to ensure accurate product costing and profitability.
-Conduct product line profitability analyses to support strategic decisions.
-Prepare and review weekly P&L statements for real-time financial insights.
-Collaborate with European Finance Group, Central Accounting, and US-based teams for aligned financial outcomes.
-Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
-Min. 3–5 years of relevant experience
-Strong in cost allocation, product profitability, and inventory valuation
-Skilled in P&L preparation and analysis (incl. weekly reports)
-Solid knowledge of US-GAAP/local GAAP; IFRS is a plus
-ERP/financial systems experience (SAP preferred)
-Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
-Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
-Excellent organizational and communication abilities
-Fluent English (negotiation level)
-Proven team leadership experience
-Current knowledge of tax laws and compliance
