What your job includes
- Supporting, developing, and operating environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, standards, and corporate regulations
- Preparing risk assessments, developing & monitoring preventive and corrective actions
- Participating in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and emergencies, analyzing root causes, and coordinating necessary actions
- Organizing, conducting, and documenting EHS training and awareness programs
- Collecting, analyzing, and reporting EHS performance indicators to management
- Participating in internal and external audits as well as preparing and conducting regulatory inspections
- Supporting the continuous improvement of environmental and occupational safety processes
- Collaborating with production, technical, and other support areas to effectively implement EHS requirements
- Strengthening a safety-conscious corporate culture and supporting employees from an EHS perspective
- Maintaining up-to-date EHS documentation, records, and reports
What we expect from you
- Higher education in occupational safety, environmental protection or a related field
- Relevant EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- Relevant EHS certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, SIFA) is an advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 14001
- Knowledge of occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Experience in preparing risk assessments
- Practical experience in developing and operating EHS programs, policies, and training
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all organizational levels in Hungarian and English language
- Advantages: Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 50001, or other management systems, Internal auditor qualification and qualifications in waste management, hazardous material handling, or fire protection
