We are filling a vacancy in the European headquarters for a Supply Chain Officer (m/f/d) Commodities with our Strategic Purchase department.

What your job includes
- Responsibility for the planning, procurement, forecasting and pricing of raw materials, packaging, energy as well as warehousing and logistics for the European OSI companies in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Ukraine
- Planning and execution of goods deliveries, quantity coordination, logistics in coordination with the companies involved, import/export, ensuring delivery quantities as well as finding solutions
- Creation, automation and management of purchasing and market statistics as well as continuous market observation and optimisation of our purchasing activities
- Processing of invitations to tender, evaluation of offers, conclusion of framework agreements, market analyses and benchmarking in order to take over commodity groups independently
- Intensive cooperation with the purchasing management in Gersthofen, Germany to develop and implement strategic purchasing goals
- Support and collaboration in cost saving projects
What we expect from you
- Completed studies in supply chain with a focus on purchasing/logistics or a comparable education.
- Relevant professional experience in purchasing / procurement of a manufacturing company, preferably in the food industry in an international environment
- Knowledge in negotiating non-protein ingredients such as breading, oils, spices, flavouring, packaging (foil and cardboard), warehouse and logistics contracts, energy and service contracts.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Very good communication and assertiveness skills at all levels in German and English language
