What your job includes
- Coordination and implementation of the European purchasing strategy for raw materials with a focus on cost optimisation, quality assurance, supplier performance and cost benchmarking.
- Control of supplier selection for new contracts in cooperation with the departments involved and further development of the strategic supplier portfolio
- Independent price negotiations with suppliers according to internal specifications
- Coordination of material deliveries in coordination with the associated locations
- Preparation of presentations, especially KPI's, cost savings, budget analyses and other reports
- Development of optimisation processes with regard to raw material quality, quantity distribution, price-performance ratio and logistics
What we expect from you
- Completed studies in business administration, agribusiness with a focus on purchasing or comparable education with relevant experience
- Relevant professional experience with FMCG in purchasing / procurement of a manufacturing company, preferably in the food industry in an international environment
- Knowledge of negotiating non-protein ingredients such as breadings, oils, spices and flavours
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Very good communication and assertiveness skills at all levels in German and English
