Our plant in Ostróda is growing with a second production line and hiring an Operational Excellence & Project Manager.

What your job includes

  • Responsible for definition, design and implementation of process improvement projects within OSI Way of Operations in conjunction with the Site Management in all functions and in cooperation with the central Operations Excecutive team.
  • Ensure integration and alignment with business and site strategies and driving our OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE approach.
  • Work with local plant management and International Team to identify key projects that will provide the optimum benefits to our customers and the plant business results.
  • Identify, initiate and execute CAPEX projects with a high focus on continuous improvement, cost efficiency and maximize product reliability and minimize cost in alignment with Plant Management and International team, ensuring timing, budget and defined project success factors.
  • Promote and share best practices between the facilities – as well for Operational Excellence methods and tools.
  • Provide leadership in supporting team work, in problem solving tools and facilitates team meetings with the Process Owner, and ensure that team decisions are made in a timely manner.
  • Ensures team facilitation, mentoring and coaching regarding results orientation, application of tools and methods and the direction regarding corrective measures for sustainable results.
  • Provide management with results: project status updates, feedback and appropriate reporting on key process focused objectives.
  • Coaching and Training in methods, tools and the Lean Six Sigma approach to ensure the success of projects.
  • Maintain close contact and cooperation with colleagues in Operational Excellence functions at other European entities and Central Operation Excellence team.

What we expect from you

  • University degree, with focus on business or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and education background
  • Profund experience of production and processing of raw material production processes, quality control, costs systems and techniques to maximize the effective manufacturing.
  • Excellent process & project management skills, action and result orientation, adherence the deadlines combined with decision making skills with the ability to drive results.
  • Proficient with statistical measures and methods, comfortable with mathematical statistics, using an analytical approach.
  • Sound knowledge of Operational Excellence Methods and tools like TPM, SPC, Lean Management, 5S, Kaizen or Six Sigma, ideally as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Programs, especially in Excel
  • Fluent both in conversation and writing in English language as you will report direct into the OSI Group in US
