Our plant OSI Food Solutions Poland sp.z o. o. in Ostróda is looking for a IT Service & Support Specialist.

You will work locally in Ostroda and report directly into the IT Teamlead Service & Support in the European Headquarters.

What your job includes

  • Troubleshooting ongoing user issues in accordance with ITIL processes and implemented procedures, as well as user support for OSI Food Solutions Poland site
  • Providing remote IT support for all OSI Group locations in Europe, as long as this does not affect local support activities
  • Forwarding trouble tickets/reports in a timely manner to the appropriate groups responsible for the respective areas
  • Operating helpdesk tools and databases, preparing standard reports, liaising with the European IT team
  • Maintenance of technical and support documentation in the IT area, including documentation in the knowledge base to improve service quality and response times
  • Informing users on the proper use of systems and technical tools and applications
  • Analysing error messages and user requests; resolving simple faults (remote analysis); effectively supporting users in basic support, initiating ways to resolve requests.
  • Operation and monitoring of IT equipment and systems

What we expect from you

  • Prerequisite: advanced knowledge of English (min. B2), Polish in writting and speaking
  • A degree in information systems engineering or similar
  • First experience in providing IT support, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Preferred certification in ITIL and Microsoft MTA or Microsoft MCP
  • Established knowledge of application support, hardware, networks, telephony, ICT services, computer hardware and MS Office
  • Technical knowledge of administering IT systems, including Active Directory, Exchange and Teams, as well as ERP solutions in a production environment is desired
  • Technical knowledge of IT systems administration, including Active Directory 
  • Knowledge of VMWare vSphere server virtualisation environments would be a plus
  • Ability to work as part of a team
