Consultant Tax Europe

For our finance department at our European headquarters in Gersthofen we are looking for you as European Tax Consultant / Syndicus Tax Consultant (m/f/d).
You will report directly to our Tax Manager Europe. You can be located office-wise in Gersthofen, Germany, Ostroda, Poland or Burton, UK.

What your job includes
- Mainly support for the domestic and international tax affairs of OSI group companies in Europe.
- Reviewing domestic and foreign corporate tax returns according to US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP and ensuring compliance with deadlines
- Liaising with domestic and foreign tax authorities, auditors, suppliers, customers and the international finance, treasury and legal functions
- Ensure correct application of European VAT regulations by liaising with external advisors, conducting regular checks and following up on regulation changes
- Reviewing US GAAP tax provisions
- Support European transfer pricing work, including BEPS, country-by-country reporting and global documentation activities
- Support management in projects and ensuring proper, efficient and timely implementation from a tax perspective
- Tax collection, management and analysis from a risk assessment perspective
- Preparation of technical tax analyses and documentation on key financial transactions
What we expect from you
- Successful completion of a degree in economics with a focus on taxes or adequate formation background
- Several years of professional experience in the field of taxes, preferably in the tax department of an internationally active company, an internationally oriented tax consulting firm or the tax authorities
- Very good knowledge of European tax regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Quick comprehension, strong communication skills and good analytical skills
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
